Final 3 DLC

If there are only 3 DLC this is what I would suggest

Aviary Pack
Great Hornbill
Harpy Eagle
Lappet-faced Vulture
Black Swan
Burrowing Owl (exhibit Animal)

Endangered Animal Pack
Scimitar Horned Oryx
Przewalski's Horse
Amur Leopard
Tasmanian Devil
Black-footed Ferret
Northern Helmeted Curassow
Coquerel's sifaka
panamanian golden frog (Exhibit Animal)

Ocean Pack
Pacific White-sided Dolphin
West Indian Manatee
Green Sea Turtle
Scalloped Hammerhead Shark
Giant Pacific Octopus (Exhibit Animal)

There is already a similar thread and I will just copy and paste my list from this thread. Personally I do believe that there will be further support in 2023. One hint for me is that there are still lower popular animals brought to the game which could suggest that the so called "star animals" are split for more packs. But this is just my view on the things. If there should be only three packs I believe that these will be animal packs only and there will not be the Integration of aviaries or aquariums (I mean smaller fish tanks and not whales or sharks) because these are ideal mechanics for a potential Planet Zoo 2.

Rainforest

Is it okay to show my ideas, predictions and/or suggestions of the final 3 DLC? If yes, here's mine. The underlined written species were the ones I mostly wished and hoped for Planet Zoo to have.

Safari/Savannah Pack
African leopard
Any baboon species
Crested porcupine

Masai giraffe
For pack of 7: Nile crocodile, caracal and ratel a.k.a honey badger
Exhibit: any chameleon species (Planet Zoo yet to have those)

Jungle Pack
Three-banded Armadillo
Lar gibbon (or any other gibbon species)
Any sloth species
Fossa
For pack of 7: Colobus monkey, squirrel monkey and Indian leopard
Exhibit: Either red-bellied piranhas or any mantis (Planet Zoo yet to have mantis and fish)

Final Pack
Przewalski's horse
Markhor
Dromedary camel
Scimitar oryx

Wolverine
Amur leopard
Golden snub-nosed monkey
Exhibit: any toad species (Planet Zoo yet to have those)

That makes it 120 Habitat animals including 3 from Deluxe pack and black-and-white ruffled lemur.

Guys, we need to keep buying. No one will kill a goose that lay golden eggs. We gotta keep buying in order to see what we want.
For sure. Me personally, the only thing I don't plan to buy is a pack that's focused on centipedes or spiders. I'm not a huge advocate for more antelopes or primates (barring a couple) but I'd even buy packs that focused on those animal families. I think at most we'll see DLC through all of next year (so somewhere between 3-7 more packs) but I'd personally love it if it extended to 2024, 2025 and beyond.

I like that you have both the African and Amur leopard on there. The African leopard is the subspecies I most want in PZ, but given all the demand for the endangered Amur leopard, I think having at least two leopard subspecies would be even better! They already have two tiger subspecies, after all.

I agreed about having both African leopard and any Asian leopard subspecies. And there're also two brown bear subspecies and three grey wolf subspecies including dingo.

If we're getting two I'd rather they were both Asian subspecies. There are hardly any if any African leopards in AZA or EAZA accredited zoos anymore so it just isn't a priority. I'd like the Amur and the Persian.

Very wishful thinking with those packs! Would love them but not so sure they're gonna actually happen lol. I'll base mine off of what frontier seems to be doing with biomes.

Really? My understanding is that all (or all but one or two) US zoos have Amur leopards. What facilities hold the African subspecies?
When I went to Maryland Zoo in 2014 they had a pair of them and also Kansas City has one though it might be a mix not pure. But Fort Worth TX announced next year they will be receiving a pureblood African Leopard in their new Predators of Africa section

Ah, interesting. Maryland Zoo now only has one Amur leopard and Kansas' is of unknown descent. It would be cool if Forth Worth got an African leopard but I imagine it would be quite difficult to obtain one.

The Zoo Director claims to already have reached an agreement to obtain one. The Habitat for it has been under construction for months now

I knew and understand. Planet Zoo had so many of ideas I like and 'what I wanted this zoo game to include' (see below) that I've been hoping that this game will have all of Africa's Big Five.
  1. Southern cassowary
  2. Giant anteater
  3. Komodo dragon
  4. One of American tapir species and one Malayan tapir.
  5. Both New World (capuchin) and Old World monkeys.
  6. Most common crocodilian set: American alligator, one big crocodile species and gharial. Caiman as extra to me.
  7. Both seal and sea lion in one game.
  8. Some animals that both Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2 have. For example: African wild dog, moose, ibex, gemsbok and sable antelope
  9. Asian black bear (Formosan subspecies) instead of American black bear whether this game will have or not.
  10. Both Galapagos and Aldabra tortoise (Most zoo giant tortoises were Aldabra, weren't they?)
  11. Bongo and okapi (two African forest ungulates)
  12. No unkeepable species in that game. The ones that couldn't last and breed in captivity in real-life like mountain gorilla, indri and Javan rhino.

Africa's Big Five.
I understand that desire, but it's important to remember that the concept of a "Big Five" doesn't actually have any bearing on zoos or zoology. In the past it referred to the five most dangerous animals in Africa to trophy hunt, and in modern terms it's largely used for safaris and photography. I wouldn't be upset if we got an African leopard (as long as it came second to the Amur or another Asian subspecies which are more common in zoos), but I just personally don't see it as a priority.

That will be interesting to see. I was expecting it to be another case of "leopard in an African section" like San Diego used to have (they were Amur leopards, just kept alongside the African animals), but this is legitimate planning for an African leopard.
