Final 4 Species

We only have 4 dinosaurs left that can be unlocked by division contracts, and I’ve got a good idea for what they are if the urban legend of an original movie pack is really true. One is Hadrosaurus foulkii, the reason being it was in Old Mike’s novel. I want it to be like the Edmontosaurus, Maiasaura, and Muttaburrasaurus, walking on both its hands and feet. Another is the early carnivore Segisaurus, related to the more famous Coelophysis. Segisaurus was actually planned for Jurassic Park, along with Baryonyx, Metriacanthosaurus, and Proceratosaurus. Finally the mini dinos Microceratus and Compsognathus. Microceratus was both in the novel and a featured species in Jurassic World while Compsognathus replaced the Procompsognathus and is the only movie dino not in the game.
As for generalities, I’m going with Pixelated Sparkster’s choice of pork and beef for the carnivores in addition to chevon as well as Paleoguy’s dusk and thunderstorms.
Cheers

I'd say it's a bit safer to assume that they'd expand the number of rewards, like they've done before. Matanceros doesn't even have five rewards for each division yet, so I imagine that's also a bit of prime real estate in the short term.

You give me hope, Thylaco. Maybe we’ll get more like Nasutoceratops, meaning that you only need a certain number of research centers to unlock them. May our quest for a game family tree of dinos diverse in names, ages, locations, familiarity, and smaller families never be in vain.

I'd estimate that there's at minimum 18 dinosaurs ahead of us (my maximum estimate is 31, so the true number is likely somewhere between), with 9 of those from dino packs.

For the sake of consistency, future dino packs would almost definitely be reputation unlocks, so they'd need a row or two somewhere.

There's potential for a Nasutoceratops situtation with major DLCs, though I'm not sure that any beyond the 1990s DLC would be separate campaigns, likely having their own maps you can unlock stuff on.

I'd like to see the two dinosaurs from the old Jurassic Park ride as a big thing...same with the two currently unnamed hybrids that popped up onscreen in Jurassic World on monitors.

Another fun one would be Protoceratops, especially if they balanced it to be, stat and combat wise, a good competitor with the raptors to be a tossup who wins between them as it's one of the classic death duels from fossils and competition there. On top of that, a skeleton of one was in Lockwood Manor

I figure Proto would be like Pachy. Good against Raptor but no chance against Carno and Rex

Could work, it's one of the things I've expected to have show up in the movies at some point if for no other reason than the fossil of the fight between them.

I'd also like to see more small carnivores since we've still only got a few of those.
