About alternative to cargo storage, is reputation against specific cargo still a possibility, like specific effect for engineers ?

For example, when proposed a mission by a faction we are allied with, ask a specific commodities as a reward and loss reputation with the faction.

The reward could be gained after multiple missions depending of the rarity of the commodities.
 
Thanks for all the work on the game, Two questions:
1) Are the F63 Condor and GU-97 locked behind rank requirements or available to everyone
2) Will the neutron star boost stack with a synthesis boost

If a player leaves their ship just outside a station (1km) and launches in a fighter and then flies outside the no-fire zone, would the station attack their main ship if they engaged in combat? Since my Commander is technically sitting in the ship, is he inside or outside the no-fire zone?
 
Concerning Planet Map View,

1. Will coordinates be shown when using the Planet Map View?
2. Will you be able to place Nav-Beacons on the surface? i.e. non-base/random location?
 
About ship transfert, can we transfert a ship to a place it can't reach normally ? (because we have put FSD 2E and no fuel scoop on our corvette for example...)
 
Loving the info on fighters. This is the feature I have been looking forward to the most this season!

Will there be a class 8 fighter bay for the cutter? It would be nice to use that massive internal space on a WARSHIP for something combat related.
 
Since there is the constant focus of making things more immersive in game with like the new Station interiors, the new hyperspace tunnel, and such
AND
Now there are paint jobs coming for (almost all?) ships

Will we see the awesome store paintjobs used by NPCs?
Faction Navies all using the same livery would look awesome in CZ if each side had their own Colour.
For example All Imperial Naval vessels have the Ice tactical Paint to match the Gutamaya theme
All Federal Naval vessels have the Graphite tactical Paint to match the Core Dynamics theme
Alliance and Independent Navies could have a Tactical or Military livery unifying or Unfirming the Livery on the Naval Vessels.
Driven by the BGSD picked by Government type or such?




Will Imperial Slave still be a commodity that go in stasis into cargo racks or will they be need cabins

I know this question was asked in the morning Q&A but that answer seemed to relate to unregulated slavery, as the early lore videos suggested that Imperial slaves would expect a cabin

So really just clarifying that answer did in fact apply to both Imperial and unregulated Slaves

Are there any plans to re-work the crime & punishment system in Elite: Dangerous. Currently CMDR'S face almost no punishment for PK'ing. Or will choose "Sidey-cide" to avoid the bounty. Fantastic game btw. o7
 
Will there be a mining scout option with wave scanner and tag beacon for the fighters?
Can you look at mining and exploring, with new integrated modules for refinery, collector and prospector modules, as well as for explorers, a nav beacon synthesis and launch module?
Are fighters redundant for interdiction due to submit, boost, jump meta, and wings which neutralise them?
 
Will the neutron/White dwarf FSD boost stack with Engineers and synthesis. We can see Anacondas making around 120Ly with Eng & Synthesis.

If the "better than best synthesis" (100%+) WD/NS boost stacks that could lead to 250Ly plus jumps. 4J per kly :D:D


Cheeky follow-up: Any way we can activate 1000ly+ plotting with the new update (even if at own risk)?
 
Will the modules that we engineer and the and store be able to be placed onto other ships that we own? Or will it be fitted for the specific ship that we originally purchased the module for? Will the storage be limited or unlimited for the modules?
 
I have 2 Questions:

1. Regarding module storage: Weapons will also be storageable, won't they?

2. Regarding fighters/future upcoming ships: Will there be a future released ship, that can launch more than one fighter at the same time. Maybe a "small" carrier with twop or more landing hangars? Could be bigger than a Anaconda, but has to use smaller ships to get loaded with goods, because it won't fit into the space stations, because of it's size. Or if it's small enough to fit, has not much cargo space, because of it's pre-buld-in hangars.
 
How much of this wonderful update is going to be available to those second class citizens of ED who are running on Macintosh or 32 bit?

Can we store non engineered modules and weapons?

Can fighters be fitted with turrets?

Hello.

Very nice Gamescom showing and I really appreciate the time and work you put into the game.

Question about your NPC Crew:

You said your NPC can gain Rank and such but if your ship is destroyed you lose that NPC. So if you get your NPC to Elite (I imagine that is quite a lot of effort) and your ship is destroyed either by your own fault or maybe some "bug", you lose that Elite NPC forever?
Will there atleast be a "save" so when you go and hire a new NPC, he\she can be Elite and not just "beginner" ranks like up to Expert?

We can travel to other star system and other galaxy but we don’t have r2d2 or c-3po are we ever getting them or are we human scare of robot or android
 
Oooh. Questions.

Will we see the return of multi part missions?
Those stunning planetary base assets you have... will we see any gameplay involving them rather than just being a sexy lookin landing pad. All those roads, buildings, garages etc.

Wing specific shared missions. Keep picking up kill 40 pirates in under 1 day missions and in a wing it is so much fun but would be even better to share some of the reward with my wingmen. Could we see any multiplayer content mechanics sometime soon? Would mean team base assaults and the like could be done much more.
 
in the future will the crew you hire will they have then own ship like a eagle or can they take control of a second ship have that is not shuttle craft(fighters)
