Finale DLC Pack: Appropriate Number of Animals

It would actually give some room to more "clones" that some people seem to want. If we get a really big roster I wouldn't even care if there's like 10 clones.

But I was kinda kidding with 60 . I think 15 animals would be fine (and more realistic)

I gotta go back to my initial count of likely 12/13 animals, and reconciling that with the 200/201 (over 200!) animals we might be going for here. I'm really hoping we get 2 packs and that one's going to take up 8 of those slots. Or, that the finale pack really would be the 20/21 and have what would have normally been in the other DLC be included in. Either way, we'd get roughly the same number of animals in the end.

Wasn't the final DLC for Planet Coaster $15 - raised from standard $10?

So if PZ follows suit at $15, then we shouldn't expect more than the equivalent of 1.5DLC's worth of content. With that, a Mega Animal Pack would have a total of 12 animals. A Mega Scenery Pack would be around 8.
I don't think 15-20 animals is realistic, unless Frontier is willing to go up to $20+ for the DLC and delay release by a couple months(which I doubt on both aspects).

Well if they need the cash flow badly and quickly. I think 20 for $20. Why not. We are going to pay.

Most of us here on the Forums would pay that, or even more. But will the average player pay that much? I think probably not.
Frontier has said the smaller transactions around $10 are their ideal for maximizing sales, so I can't see them going too much over $10. I could potentially see them go as high as $20 maybe. Also remember that the more $$ and animals equals a longer waiting period. 20 animals along with a possible scenery set likely means we wait until summer(at least). I'm not sure Frontier wants to wait that long.

If the last pack is larger as it was in Planet Coaster i think 6-12 seems reasonably. Essentially something between scenery pack with 2 extra animals to animal pack + scenery pack is realistic i guess, with 12 probably already pushing it.
Idk someting really big is just unrealistic in my eyes since they would have to be working on it in between or besides last years packs, and creating something like 20 animals as basicly a side project just isnt gonna happen, especially with the recent layoffs

I don't know and cannot be sure that these will be there but I hope Planet Zoo will have these.
  1. African leopard
  2. Perentie (or other Australian monitor lizard)
  3. Baboon (any species)
  4. Masai giraffe
  5. Markhor
  6. Green sea turtle
  7. Rockhopper penguin

I sure don't mind seeing them.
Yeah. One of two leopards in 1 was African savannah only while the only one in 2 (black) was only from Africa. American black bear in 1 and spectacled bear in 2. I kind of swear that if Planet Zoo got one more bear species (which was sloth bear as the last bear to be there), then Planet Zoo should have the rest of ALL species of bears.

I don't know how many animals and scenery pieces the final pack should have, but they better include my Pallas Cat, or I'll cry in my tea, bump my nose in it and drown to death! ...and after that I will give the game a bad review!!1111oneelevenone

I brought up the idea of “new world” and “old world” packs before. Wondering how well they could round-out the roster as our two last dlcs, I came up with this:

New World Deluxe Pack:

Black Bear
Roosevelt Elk
Alligator Snapping Turtle
Sea Otter
Northern Elephant Seal
Coatimundi
Howler Monkey
Greater Rhea
Brazilian Porcupine
Scarlet Ibis
Marmoset or Tamarin
Humming Birds (E)

Old World Deluxe Pack:

Masai Giraffe
Baboon (any)
Gray-Crowned Crane
Shoebill Stork
Tree Kangaroo
Echidna
Atlantic Walrus
Great White Pelican
Marhkor
Chinese Giant Salamander
Blackbuck
King Cobra (E)

And then as our special last anniversary animal, the leopard seal, to represent Antarctica.

Seems optimistic but realistic enough. Being deluxe packs they’d both have some scenery too. And the total would be brought to just over 200 animals. Curious how people would feel about this.

I know this sounds naïve but maybe they save one bear for the 5 year anniversary. Like they will never announce the game is over anyway and 5 year IS a big bench mark.

I'm scared to say that I agree that I think the next pack is a "New World" Finale Pack, all of the other continents have already been covered through past packs like Eurasia, Arid and Oceania. North America and South America haven't gotten their packs yet, and New World theme can take them in one pack. We miss out on Baboon and African bird, but I guess I would take it, Something like this:
  • South American Coati
  • Brown Pelican
  • Large Monkey Species (spider or howler)
  • Walrus
  • Sea Otter or American Black Bear
  • Bush Dog (wildcard)
  • Greater Rhea
  • Emerald Tree Boa or a NA exhibit species
