Absolutely wait. More animals is more animals plus I don’t really think the game can be made to feel complete with 7 habitat animals but can absolutely with 15. Plus if we get to the anniversary we can get another free update.

Those extra animals in option 2 could all be clones, so option 1

Option 1 would be higher quality which would be my pick, having 15+ animals in one pack isn't that good when thinking about previous trends of more more more leading to half baked updates.

How many purely unique animals do we really need/are we asking for? A lot of the top of the metawishlist are clones in a way.

I can think of a just a handfull that need heavy work, like the spider monkey or the secretary bird. The rest are not as complex to achieved as people make them to be. A lot of the bases are already there.

So yeah i prefer more animals and a longer waiting time. Plus, if anything, getting another pack in the summer could also mean animals of less quality and half baked updates. A longer waiting period should give them more time to work on detaila.

And also, other than the bugs with the shops the DLCs have been high quality (minus the Highland cow in Barnyard and the easy-clone filled roster, but even then they all (mostly) look good)

Well i don't mind as long as those ungulates are the ones we want (which are quite a lot BTW): markhor, blackbuck, musk ox, gerenuk, muntjac, pudu, Pere David deer, etc. And i could still list a lot more that people would be happy with looking at wishlist, but those are the ones that usually come up. People even want another giraffe and zebra

And also, is not like being regular animal packs have stoped Frontier from adding a lot of ungulates: Arid, Eurasia and Barnyard are all ungulates heavy and they are all regular animal packs released in the usual time frame.

It depends on what those clones are:
Monkeys? Yes please.
Any of the birds? Absolutely, even if another flamingo I find having more options for them would be more interesting than other possible clones.
Any of the reptiles, like a new African croc, tortoise, or lizard? Without a doubt.

Another ungulate, Bear, cat, or dog? Honestly not that interested unless it’s something really out there.


I think it depends on what we get to be honest, Frontier has always had the option to make good filler animals. Let’s hope this final pack can do that.

Hard to say
With the barnyard dlc coming out later and frustrating us, I’d say giving us a normal animal dlc would help. A bigger dlc would also be nice as a final farewell but it seems frontier isn’t going to change their formula anytime soon.

Even for a bunch of “clones” (god I hate that word in this context), I woud gladly wait longer.

I mean, all the packs always had +- 3 animals that had new/adjusted rig and a set of new animations. So it is better to get those 3 unique animals plus a bigger number of clone filler animals than 3 unqie animals and small number of clone filler animals.

Alot of popular animals can be considered clones. Ocelot, Spurred Tortoise, Grey-Crowned Crane, Blackbuck, Muntjac, Musk Ox…the list goes on.

Option 2 for me and if it could be a final pack with one species corresponding to each DLC already out it would be incredible. I would also be okay with a 12 species pack + 1 last anniversary animal to make it to 200 but the roster needs to be good and give us missing key species.
