You're not raining on any parade. Just a load of people have stated that it's tricky getting it through the mailslot, but I found otherwise. The fact that it moves about as quickly as a sloth coated in treacle probably helps.

Yeah, I think the Type-9 is actually extremely easy to fly.

What frustrates people is its lack of mobility, but that doesn't make it difficult to fly by any means.

And don't waste your credits upgrading the T9 thrusters - the A7 thrusters cost around 42 million and offer very little improvement over the humble D7's!

Not to mention that jump range is more important to the Type-9 than mobility.

Thanks! I had thought about it, but figured that (aside from the fact I don't currently have that spare if I want to have rebuy still), as the T9 is a temporary measure really it wasn't really worth it. I figured they'd do very little to how quickly the giant heffer turns and I'm not going to outrun anything even with the upgraded thrusters. I've figured the shields give me a little buffer if I get interdicted (although I have downgraded them to a lower class so I have more cargo space) and then the thing is quite heavily armoured anyway so I should be fine to jump away before I'm in serious trouble.
