Finally happened...capital class star ship

After nearly a year of pretty much combat oriented play i have finally experienced a capital class ship enter a conflict zone...and you think your corvette is big

Totally love it.. IF they are on my side.. Your profit will go down though.. lol

For the next time, find systems in "WAR" and not in "Civil War". The Captital ship spawns 80% of the time in any High intensity conflict zone.

Thanks, I still haven't seen one. But I also don't hang out in CZ's. I should give it a try one of these days.

Ugh... I got bad memories of my first Capital ship...

"Massive frameshift surge detected!"

Uh.... Wut?

*Turns around*

*BRRRRRRRRRR!!!!*

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH-"

Cap' ships are over-rated.

The flag of the navies should be flown by a Sidewinder, b0ss.

I was amazed when I saw it the first time, too. It happened in one of the high intensity CZs. Those ships are absolutely huge. It's like Star Wars when you fly close to it and just watch all those lasers firing, lots of ships flying all over the place.

I saw my first Farragut in battle last night. Jumped into a high intensity CZ. I think it had around 12-20 beam lasers, and probably a similar number of multi-cannon type things. It just shredded anything that got close to it. But, it also takes all your combat bonds as mentioned above!

I pretty much crapped myself when I first saw one jump in. Thankfully the noise it made masked my own. Likewise with the cloud it produced.

Their firepower does sit in a weird middle ground. Dangerous to be focused by yes, but they don't hold a candle next to the threat of station guns which does seem wierd. They're strong enough to shred weakling npc's in seconds and 'steal' your bonds, but at the same time not particularly threatening to your typical amped up cmdr vessel. In fairness it's a difficult balancing act and fdev could have got it much wrongerer.

edit, here's a thought, it'd be nice especially for when two drop into a cz, if instead of being covered in anti-regular-ship guns and just kinda sitting there, they fired whopping piles of slag at each other / nearest thing they're focusing on, vaporising anything that gets in the way. But hey they are what they are and they're still pretty cool imo.

Have a rep.
1% because what you said sounds pretty awesome.
99% because you used the word "wrongerer" correctly in a sentence.

If anybody wants to see one just go to the community goal in Neits. There are capital ships in every high intensity conflict zone. I almost chased off a empire interdicter; destroyed all but 3 of its heat dissipation modules and left it with only 4 operational guns :p
