I hope we get it functional as commanders logbook to write in. Press button and camera centers and zooms in like the other screens. Then type, search, navigate the pages the same way as the others. Write down where events are taking place, trade routes, shopping list, poems when alone exploring, you name it.

As space invaders was pretty much the competition back when Elite released, this is both epic and applicable.
Easy to see why Elite was such a big thing....Invaders was more a quick fix, easy gratification type game unlike the games on the market these days...oh wait mmm

Heh, I said the same thing (earlier in this thread), Elite's genuinely something that'd be awesome to have in ED on the ship's computers.
