Financial balancing

The fines are ridicolously low, and the whole thing feels really unbalanced too. First trespass (blocking corridor or whatever): a sum so small it’s actually downlight laughable. Second trespass (timeout, clear whatever): death?! Well that escalated quickly! Increase fines gradually (starting at say 2.500 cr? 7.000?) and then after three warnings and a longer timeout, THEN the station can open fire..?

A bit of the same with paint job cost. Repair ship (92% integrity): 183.679 credits. Paint job (56% integrity): 16 credits. Ooook

Make it actually cost a bit to get yer ship nice and shiny again perhaps? Would also add more realism to the game, as more players would opt out of new paint job to save cash? As of now it’s either «brand new» or «look at me, I’ve been to Colonia» in regards of paint jobs.

I think Fines should be based on player Rank and ship size and such.

Definately! Don’t bankrupt the guy in a sidey on his first attempt to dock. The elite rank guy in the conda sitting in the slot however... go to town.
