Find station in between two systems?

Noob here... i'm in the middle of nowhere traveling to waypoint 2 for DW2 and i'd like to lighten the load of modules to increase jump range.

Is there a way to find a station that is enroute between two waypoints? I am able to find the nearest station to my current location with https://eddb.io/station, but it's way out of the way.

Eddb will show you all the stations within a certain range of your current location - so it it's not showing any others then you're out of luck.

Mostly the stations out of the bubble won't have what you want, and won't be where you want them - welcome to exploration

eddb is likely your best shot.

There isn't an in-game way to do this in a clever way. I think the closest you can get to it is to go into your galaxy map, and set it to filter by economy and deselect "None". That should show you all systems with an economy. You could also use the population filter and move it up a tiny notch. Then eye-ball around the place for things on the map.

But if you're out of the bubble, there is little to go to. I'm not sure the route of DW2, so can't say for sure.

You might also want to use EDDB to see if the stations you are going to will have the modules you need, else it is simpler to go back to the bubble to refit before you get to WP2(WP1 was Pallaeni)

It's a 28 week journey currently 2 days in.........just head back to bubble and outfit properly you'll catch up in no time

i have the modules i need, i was just looking to store some things to bump up jump range a bit, and then when i arrive at a station near WP2, i would transfer them. No biggie though, i'll just press on and optimize travel a little better from WP2 to WP3.

There really aren't many stations with Outfitting at all out that way. Most of the deep space stations don't have it.

Your nearby options are
- back to the bubble
- Omega Mining
- Rohini (~2500LY past Omega Mining, but has a shipyard as well)

(and then once you get further out, a side trip to Gandharvi, Kashyapa or Colonia is your only option, and will be a big detour)
