Finding a station between 2 systems

I would like to know a tool/site that allow me to find any station between 2 systems. Need some place to stop (and even buy ships/commodities, rearm) but don't want to go too far away from my straight route between that 2 systems.
I use this tool to find a route into a far away systems (more than 1000 ly): https://www.spansh.co.uk/
But that tool don't point stations nearby, and using EDDB doesn't help that much.

You can fill in your location (or a location on the route) in EDDB and filter for stations that are nearby.

Doesn't work, as I stated in my 1st post, EDDB don't get stations near my route.

Why are you not using the ingame- starmap?

Can't you show systems according to minimum population? These are more likely to have stations. Plot your route only through these. Not tried it but just a suggestion.

Exactly - or just filter systems without stats as a system which do have any state its habituated with, I think, at least one station or outpost (planetary base).
Of corse it will not show you the station services if you was not there before, but still.

Filter planets with population? Thanks for the hint.
Although I went on a 21k trip from HIP 74290, went 4k away from that home, found no habitable systems nearly 3k.

Well, yeah. The only inhabited areas are the bubble, which is only a few hundred ly wide, and the new Colonia area, which has a few inhabited around it, and i believe there's 5 planatary bases on the path between there and the bubble.
If you're talking about going on trips that are thousands of ly, then unless it's between the bubble and colonia, all you're going to find is a lot of lonely space.

Oh yeah, you hit the edge there.

Tip for the future. Go to the 4th tab of the galaxy map and hit the 3rd option (powerplay). This is the political scene and quite nicely outlines the inhabited area, there are a few outliers as you've found but for the large part the coloured bit is inhabited.
