Finding Civil War between non-controlling factions

I'm wanting to earn combat bonds (both for Xbox achievements and the engineer fella who says I have to earn 50) so I'm hunting out Civil War's, however, I'm finding the Galaxy Map will only show the state of "civil war" if the controlling factor is defending an expansion/invasion - whatever it's called.

I stumbled upon a civil war accidently doing a mission yesterday where the system state was "None", but two minor factions at 7% influence each were in a Civil War.

So my question then, is there anyway I can these civil wars that are between the minor factions from the Galaxy Map when they don't show outside of the System Map??

I don't know any way to find Civil Wars in the Galmap when the controlling factions are not involved. You'll have to check the system maps for this. :|


BUT you can ask the locals.

If I remember correctly, Eleu is close to that particular engineer.
And we at SEPP have a special deal for contractors: we give you a list of current wars in our systems that is updated every day!
Since wars have a minimum duration of 3 days and we track more than a dozen systems there's always a need for...agressive negotiations to end those wars.

You part of the deal is easy: whenever you fight in our systems, fight for the faction we favor. You can choose the system and jump in whenever you feel trigger happy.

I'm currently writing guide about exactly that!

If I were you I'd find a nice system at the edge of the bubble and create my own wars and booms there. First just in one system and then also in the neighbourhood.
This gives you a nice number of systems to work with that you can control constantly and push the factions around as it suits you.
