Finding Colonization Systems

Is there an easier way that just searching around the galaxy map system by system trying to find a good system with resources that within 10ly of somewhere else. Seems the 10ly range is very restrictive.

I Use the expressway to exomastery to find suitable/ Landable high metal content planets 15 LY from a station. Then check and see if there’s stations there.
could be wrong… the internet will tell me right quick!
