Finding Equipment

I've always had good luck with the following site:

But now I'm trying to find 7A Thrusters and a 7A Shield Generator and I keep going to places that it says people found them a few hours or a day ago, and when I arrive the part I need isn't there.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there some better reference to finding these parts? I'm getting tired of flying around to the places it lists as green circles that people found recently, but they're not there when I get there.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Just saw this thread: was happening past Faust 68 Slipher Hub and confirm 7A shields: They don't have 7A thrusters though... haven't bothered checking EDDB as the gent above mentioned.

I don't know what's going on really.

I sold my 7A Thrusters at Duwali earlier this morning for some 7D but now I've reconfigured my ship and want the 7A Thrusters back.

I've gone back to Duwali and its not there, I've gone to about 3 other places that this eddb.io has listed and nothing there either.

Am I just having bad luck, or am I doing something wrong?

Equipment does go out of stock occasionally.
Also system status effects like war or boom etc greatly affect what equipment is on offer.


And if you sell equipment to a station they will only hold it for as long as you remain docked, once you leave its scrapped if they don't stock it.
