The last few days the servers have been kind of all over the place. I collected a few fines because my ship decided it wanted to get stuck in the mail slot mysteriously after flying straight. Now, I know that Elite Dangerous is trying hard to emulate the United States with Police brutality with a shoot first for any reason attitude. Probably with the TSA to be added once we have avatars. Therefore shouldn't it be that we have some way of knowing what fines we actually have? I've been flying around the Bubble tonight intending to pay off the fine for the mail slot mystery flight when I discovered I had another fine. No biggy, I was expecting to find another fine lumped in there somewhere. However, it was in another system. Next I flew out from the Bubble a bit and now I have a bunch of fines. So I fly back in, pay them off, and i have a bunch more. Okay, the lag was great the other night, but I'm starting to think this is more like the game is fining me for places it detected me rather than places I actually was. I never got any notice of fines besides the ones I flew out to pay for. Plus, the fines just aren't showing up in my Transaction Tab. I have to fly into the system where the fine is. This is pretty silly. I'm currently wandering the Bubble looking for places looking for places I might have gone during Trade missions. Unfortunately, since I've been ranking up with Federation I've been practically everywhere. Why isn't there a remote pay feature? This literally like the terror of living in the US where if you encounter the police there's every possibility you could just die. That's what happens after 6 days right? The fine turns into a bounty and stations just arbitrarily start shooting us since the arbitrarily decides when and when not to show our fines in Transactions?
Anyway, this isn't very fun having no idea when, if, or where the game's going to suddenly turn on me because reasons.
