Finding Fuel Scoopable Stars on the in game galactic map

To filter the fuel scoopable stars on the galactic map, set your show by colour and your show by size to both display.

None

As you can see in the image, all the dots are orange in colour apart from a few selected dots that are in a selection of different stars.

The rule of thumb is this.

If it is a coloured dot (Not orange), it is fuel scoopable.

Good tip, though it's a bit hard to differentiate T-Tauri from M class. M class stars are scoopable, though I guess it will help in highly crowded areas.
Just to clarify foor newcomers :
Quote from here
Scoopable star class (Best to worst)
A, B, F, O, G, K, M

Not Scoopable L, T, Y - S, D, N & Black Hole

What about white dwarfs (shown as white), Class A White/Blue stars (e.g. Sirius, shown as blue), or brown dwarfs? Those won't show as red/orange but are not scoopable...

Also, aren't some Class M reds scoopable (those WILL show as orange).

I don't know if this is a viable detection method.

I don't know what the colours are yet, only just worked the filter out.

You know guys, it's really easy to setup the galmap to show OBAFGKM stars. (scoopables ones) like so...

And that mnemotechnic from WiseguyJim is good, kudos. For fun, here's another one in the same order as in the game.
Oh Be A Fine Girl Kiss Me.
