Excited to try new mission mechanics, I accept a mission to go get regenerators. It get the system their in. Great, off I go knowing I can scan the Nav Beacon. But I get no new location information from said process. Did I misunderstand this? Do I need more than my basic discovery scanner?
It seems you need a discovery scanner, even when it doesn't mention it in the missions description. I had a similar situation today. Honked. Got update. Flew to mission update beacon and found the required USS. However,.... I was interdicted and destroyed after I collected the items and now the mission won't spawn a new USS so I can complete the delivery. Looks like I have to abbandon it and pay the 40k fine, plus the 500k I lost from the ship insurance. Am so frustrated now that I logged off :/
