I've searched like over a dozen shipyards in my local area and I cant find a specific ship im looking to buy. Is there a way to search which system will sell a specific ship? Do stations just randomly sell ships of different variety?

Different stations may have different ships, high tech usually have a greater selection and if its a large population even better. Some ships are faction specific.

What is it you are looking for?

Unfortunately no, apart from actually going to the station and looking there is no way to know what they stock.

High tech, high population systems are more likely to have a good selection, but it's no guarantee.

Vultures seem pretty common to me. Stupid question but someone has had this issue before - you are cycling through all the available ships at the stations?

From the top of my head, I think there's a Vulture in Zaragas. Try Jenner Hub.

I might be wrong though... I have a poor memory at this age.
