Last night I tested this on one of the other crashed conda sites I haven't visited yet. The one at Koli Discii, flatter terrain, yadda yadda. In the pre 3.3 days the task was: use this 3rd party overlay tool to zero in on the coords or do it the masochistic way. I never took the leap of using the 3rd party tool to locate planetary coords so I guess that makes me a masochist, except I really hated the process.
With the surface scanner, I mapped C 6 A, and got the POI "crashed anaconda" (still not in nav panel, you still have to scan the ship's data port to get that). During super glide the POI disappeared, no big deal. This new and improved way is a real QOL improvement!
Well done, FDEV!
