Finding players in Empire?

Hello.

I think I met the downside of having a playground that's as big as the whole galaxy... I never meet anyone. This is a serious bother. I decided to side with Empire... And I never meet anyone.

Are there players playing in Empire? Do you play in Empire systems and if you do, do you meet a lot of people? If you are in a player populated empire system, I'd really like to hear about it. Thanks!

I'm in empire and I see someone once every six hours or so.

Most of the time this entails one of us moving behind the other in SC to protect against interdiction until one of us either drops out of SC or jumps to another system. I say hello to everyone I see but rarely get a response back.

That would already be great, I haven't seen anyone in ages, since I left the federation weeks ago. I like PVP so having players that play the game without necessarily talking but use proper ways to defend themselves or attack would be nice.

I also moved to empire at launch day, and have not seen a living soul since.

I guess people stick with the "good" guys. Also, all of the player lead endeavors such as inciting civil war are happening elsewhere.

When I moved to a good trading route near my "home system" that I've been roaming in since launch I actually see 3-4 players all the time.

I'm still around sorbago, I see some commanders from time to time.

There were plenty players in the combat zones when I was there.
Now I have moved near Achenar, I see them regularly, but as someone said already, they tend to be careful around each other, and they usually bug out as soon as I arrive.

I am not sure if it is polite to hail them as they could view this as immersion break. Any views on that?

Doesn't bother me. But I'm usually too busy or jumping onwards to reply back.

I'm down around the Altani Warzones in Empire with a mate CMDR. Occasionally see a fellow CMDR minding there own buisiness.

Theres stupid ammounts of Gold Silver & Plad to haul and make profits from when you get tired of hunting in the extraction zones.

I think when the Empire beast starts roaring the CMDRs will unite up and be more talkative

Im in Empire but also dont see many fellow Commanders. Ive literally bumped into one, and I spend most of my time around Mandh, Mudhrid and Formanjia (I think the sp is right

Do you have to target ships to see if they are real players or not of are they a special colour? I don't think I have seen anyone except ai?

the yellow rectangle on the radar will be solid yellow for NPCs, its a hollow rectangle with only a yellow border for players.

I mostly roam about the place in chase of profit and wanting to see interesting places, I have found myself often hanging in the Imperial systems and pledging my allegiance to them.

I see people maybe once every few hours, I try to say hi but I never get a reply back or they just leave before I can get a lock.

I hang around near the Archenar area as of late under the alias Denak Kalamari, do say hi back if you see me!

I know that I speak not only for myself here but for many other Imperials, when I say that, I long for the day when I may return to the heart of our wonderous empire.

But for many a day too long we have been dwelling or more aptly hiding in the rotten, morally degenerate, uncultured independant cesspools of Jera and Durius. Here we fight not just for our honour, or the Empire's honour, but for all the inhabitants of these systems. We need to free them from these incompent fools that govern them so that they may see the wonder and the might of the Empire.

Maybe one day soon we will return to our lands and may greet you on your travels and in the mean time spare a thought for those brave men and women on the front lines.
