Elite / Frontier Finding star systems?

This might be me overlooking something, but one thing has really bothered me when I was doing missions and sightseeing my way around the Frontier galaxy. Why can't you just type in a system name on you starmap and the program would find it for you?
I don't know if there is any button for this, but there sure ought to be sometimes. Coordinates are fine sure ( eventhough some systems hide themselves real well in deep space), but sometimes scouting around for obscure planets, you need to look for a name, not a number.

There must be some of you out there who also has been looking for systems like Arakis, Alderaan (- forget it, it's gone ) and Raxxla, right?

Try Jongware, where you can download a program which will allow you to search for systems in FE2 and FFE.
