So I've taken a few combat missions in 2.1, and I havent had too many problems with finding pirates, as could be expected since they are fairly common.
But one I have (and I'm sure there are other similar rare NPC's that are requested) is a request to engage deserters of a faction. I've been looking around the system for quite a bit and have yet to find a single such NPC. Am I missing something, perhaps?
Also, one of the system's outposts or stations always has the globe-style icon that indicates it is part of a mission, but I can't seem to find any reason for it. I've tried searvhing around those areas for the NPC's but I don't know how that would work as the deserter mission's system is a planetary outpost, and the mission doesn't require Horizons, so I can't imagine it has anythign to do with that, as other missions have had space stations and outposts.
Anyone have any insight into this? any help would be appreciated
