Finding your space legs

I understand the intention of the post but I think you picked really wrong game or dont understand what some of us wants from space legs -Astro is third person, its about survival and looks even more toon like than NMS 
In my opinion better candidate for "pretend to be space leg DLC" is Hellion:

Astroneer looks terrible compared to Elite. Elite with legs would be more like that one game everyone likes making fun of here lol.
I've been playing Astroneer off and on for what seems like years now, and probably is.
Now its been released I've taken another look and just built my first rocket, and I have to confess I'm finding it difficult to want to continue playing. I realise that they have added lots of things, some that I won't mention for spoiler reasons, but I had already visited all the planets and built all the things that were possible before except those implemented relatively recently.
I'll struggle own but to be fair, I got more than my moneys worth before they even finished the game.
Just visited their home page and see this quote:

It appears this Whittaker person hasn't got a clue.
