Well here goes guys. I have hammered my GFX to the max today.
I have tested in all station/outpost types and the nice clean white type was the only one that kept FPS to around 60/70.
Every other place was from 90 up but hangs around mostly at 110. Top is 115.
Extraction sites ryt into the asteroids was sitting at 99/100
I have used the OSD setting that precision x gives you to display my FPS in game.
I have all settings maxed in game. I have not used the in game dsr setting. that is at 1.0x
Custon res of 2560x1440 through Nvidia controll pannel.
Rift is in Extended mode at is set as secondary diplay.
See below for my Global Nvidia Settings. I have turned everything on or up to max except dsr and set some to use 3d app setting.

I am running an old 1366 socket 980X XTREME 3.33 clocked to 4.2, 24 GB Kingston Hyper X RAM (was on a deal lols), with a stock settings air cooled 780TI KINGPIN GFX (just havent bothered to clock yet), All wired into ASUS Rampage 3 XTREME Black Edition Mobo. Win 8.0 and game is on SSD.
I am able to get 3200x1800 custom rest to display but the FPS drops 20 frames for every reading above. Higher end cards may work ok with this. Or if i clock my card a little i may beable to get away with it. Not so experianced with clocking gfx so im a little wary, unless anyone can give me any pointers for my card.
Nvidia Driver is 347.52. Latest to date
I have also extended my rift cables and it was rather cheap to do. i can supply details of cables which were all on amazon. only negative of this is when you hammer through menus in game on ur sytem pannels u notice redish lag. from research this is to do with the pixels not getting there signals as fast. But it does not hinder sytem performance nor has it damaged my rift and ive been doing this for the last 2 months. please research yourselves as im no expert. Ive found the extra 2m really handy for my setup.
Hopefully this will be of some use to folks.
To the void i go.
Cheers
