My first journey into anarchy territory resulted in some nice fights. Then, I was busy finishing off a Sidewinder that had attacked me when a authority vehicle (A.V.) intervened and got in the way of my shots. They fined me for shooting them when it was clearly the A.V. that caused the incident. I then felt compelled to destroy the offending A.V. for interfering
- resulting in a murder charge. A slippery slope.
My point in this is that I was not in trouble and did not need assistance in defending myself. I had not asked for help and didn't expect any in an anarchy system. So, why was I 'helped'? Surely there must be some protocol that says something like: An Authority should ask if assistance is needed before opening fire. It is a waste of resources and an unnecessary risk/expense for an authority to 'help' a ship that was not in trouble and having little difficulty taking out a pirate. If my hull was at 20% help may have been appreciated, if I was asked - my hull was at 98%
It was shooting my mark and it would have stolen my kill! The A.V. had no manners and died for its rudeness.
