Fireworks destroy PC

So something i have just figured out when using the display sequencer is that it kills my FPS[sour].
It goes down to 2FPS or even 1.My beautiful shows destroy the game[ugh].Frontier should really fix this.I have a nvdia gtx 1060 graphics card and planet coaster runs very smooth on it,but fireworks ruin my game[sulk]

So fireworks and billboards have a YUGE impact on performance? Noooo I have a gtx 760 that's dying and was thinking of getting a 1060, but if even a 1060 goes down to 2 fps... [cry]

I removed 4 billboards and the performance was smooth again[knockout]

So the fireworks perform fine? That's a relief, since I wasn't planning on using billboards for videos, just images which (hopefully) shouldn't put too much strain on the CPU. Still, I hope the performance issues are actually caused by a bug so it can be fixed for those who do want to go crazy with videos.

Are you using custom Content on the Screens? I made a post a few minutes ago in the Billboard How To Thread, maybe it is something to think about:

I had not enough time yet to play around with the billboards, but there are some Performance issues for some people here. This brings a (at least for me) important question: Could you give us some deeper advice on the Video and Picture Formats, especially for recommended resolutions (Pictures/videos) and bitrates for our custom clips? So if someone has massive performance issues with billboards, maybe they took in a Picture with a very high resolution or even a video with very high frame rates. I am just familiar with MP4/H264 codecs for now, so i dont know if someone maybe could try to do a *.webm video @ 4K 60FPS. If so, I totally understand that this can cause perfomance or stability problems. Some further information could be nice at this point.

I do not think that this was known by the devs; if there are severe issues with that, they might want to fix it in the following weeks to come

In the Netherlands? If so where can I get those? Currently GPU's are crazy expensive over here. [sad]

Basically they're usually missing accessories like leads, have a damaged box, or are a refurbished card that was sent back faulty. I've been using B-Grades for years and have never had a problem, plus you usually get warranties with them too!

If you want more, just Google B-Stock :)

If you ever have any problems with it being expensive I'd be more than happy to pick one up for you and send it over marked as a gift or something so you don't get stung for duty.

EDIT: Hi mods, I realise that the last part looks a hell of a lot like solicitation which is usually banned on everyone forum I use. I'd like to clarify that I would NOT seek any kind of remuneration for such an act,it would just be a favour.

Thanks a lot! Ill check it out for sure.

Fireworks for sure hurt fps, i have a 1080 and on an empty park I get 150 fps. when I set off one of the firework blueprints it dips sometimes to 110fps. thats a 40 fps loss with just fireworks in the park!

Obviously the more fireworks going off at the same time the worse it is but still a 40fps drop...yikes...
