Firing Groups

I don't understand...

I have a Hauler..

I was able to buy another pulse laser and a cannon.

When I got to my firing groups..

I only see 1 laser.

where is everything at?




Also..

Dumping Cargo..
Do we have to dump everything or can we select a group or single item to dump?

Firegroups are bugged afaik. Especially when u have bought support modules. What you select in the window and assign group is not what actually gets assigned.

You can dump cargo selectively. Just select which cargo and choose how many you wanna dump.

The Hauler only has 1 hardpoint. If I recall correctly, attempting to buy subsequent weapons for an already fitted hardpoint will auto-sell the existing weapon as part of purchasing the new weapon.

You can only fit one weapon to the Hauler, as it only has one hardpoint, if you buy several weapons one after the other, you will be stuck with the last one.

As for your cargo dumping question, to dump a specific amount of a certain cargo look at the right holographic panel, switch the tab to 'Cargo', then select the cargo type you wish to dump and use the left and right buttons to select the amount. Confirm and it will only drop that amount of cargo.

Yea I think they are bugged....

After having bought 4 new weapons I assigned the groups whilst in the station...

Left the station.....Managed to get in a fracas and Whoah.....All hell broke loose....Lasers going off with cannons...One laser missing.....After nearly biting the bullet...I legged it and had a look at the groups...They were all over the place...

I reassigned them and *Touches wood* So far so good......

Yes, its a known bug. Assign your firegroups after entering supercruise and it will remember them even if you return to any station. You just cant change them there.
