Just something I was wondering about...
I've noticed it's pretty common for CMDRs to take potshots at me while I'm inside a station.
I've never lost a ship that way so it's not like I'm salty about it but I was just wondering how they manage it without getting destroyed?
If somebody in, say, an FGS shoots at me while I'm docking, I don't really see how they can do that and then be flying around, back outside the station, ignored by the station and SysSec ships 30 seconds later.
Doesn't seem like there's enough time that they'd be destroyed, rebuy their ship, launch and get back outside in the time it takes me to hand in a mission and then launch so, presumably, they must be entering the station, firing on me and then getting back outside again in a way that means the station doesn't become hostile.
Just wondering how it's done so that I might be able to avoid it if possible.
