Firing on your own faction.

Hi Commander`s

Question, as a Bounty Hunter does firing on your own faction if they are wanted reduced your rep with said faction?

I thought there was supposed to have been a fix recently where if they have a bounty then reputation is unharmed.

Not sure if it went live successfully though, however if not its in the works.

not fixed yet, but yes its in the works, should be done by 1.1 along with goodies

Thanks guys and I didn't know about the fix so that will give me more to kill :) I will wait for 1.1 then.

All the best.

Don't, the above is literally nonsense. It has been fixed, you can shoot at every wanted ship and your reputation will INCREASE and you will no longer be attacked by local security forces. I'm currently allied to the feds strictly because of bounty hunting. I don't care what faction a target belongs to, wanted=wanted.

As someone who is Allied with both the Empire and Federation I can honestly say that I have never been negatively impacted by shooting at someone allied with my own major or subfaction. Why? Because any minor loss in reputation I may incur when shooting allied wanted targets is ALWAYS more than offset when I turn in my bounty vouchers.

I became allied with the federation through bounty hunting, and I wasn't even trying. I simply shot anything that was wanted. Anything!
