Firing Vendors when shops are closed

Currently, closed shops keep their vendor, which is fine, but if I fire them on closed shops, I'd like to them to not have vendor. Right now the game automatically hires a new vendor too replace them, which makes for a huge drain in wages for a bunch of vendors in closed shops that don't do a thing.

If you fire a vendor from the Park management vendor staff screen, the corresponding shop will automatically close.

And a new vendor will be hired...

Deleting shop works, but sometimes I just like to build stuff and plan ahead, or close shops when closing an area that has old rides, etc. Would be great if they would just fix this.

The fact that you fire vendors via a bulldozer icon makes it feel like a temporary debug feature and the complete lack of animations or feedback after you've fired a vendor supports that. You are not supposed to fire them manually, apparently the game can't really handle empty shops. So there is always a vendor needed, does the new guy still receive salary when the shop is closed?

Removing a shop is not always an option because there is no guarantee that the new shop you build later will still hook up to the adjacent path if it is a little more complex. Go figure. :(

Because selling a shop, then rebuying it at a later date costs money?

As has already been said, if you want to close an area (not that I ever have or will!) then it can be useful.

I can see why some people would want it changed, even if it doesn't affect me.
