Firmware update

Just noticed a message saying my CV1 has a firmware update. Has anyone tried the latest update? Don't want to download and screw up my CV1

edit - ah forget that, seems I have no choice in updating.

Where did you get the notification please? I haven't noticed anything. The Oculusclient says my firmware is version 708/34a904e8da.

No issues at all, everythings running smooth.

@zarrazee - notification was at the top of oculus home

No issues for me either, however i have the dreaded Autumn (Yes i know it's called Fall, but i am in England and the Queens english is spoken this side of the pond ) Microsoft update pending!!


A update warning for me is a big black window in place of the Oculus home screen saying 'Oculus Rift NEEDS to update'. Maybe that because i have auto downloads on or something like that!
