I recently decided to try exploring.
First, I took a short journey straight up from Sol, as far as I could go. Here's a picture from that journey.
A very close orbit.
After returning and selling my data, I went on a second, longer trip. Here's some pictures.
Binary system somewhere near the Cone Nebula. I somehow found an unexplored system there.
First Earthlike!
Jellyfish Nebula, here I come!
I came, I saw, I scanned a few systems. Time to head home.
A system I liked on the way home, so I gave it a through scanning.
All in all, I was gone about a month on this second trip, completely scanned 40+ systems and partially scanned many more, making about 13-14 million in the process.
