Had my first text conversation with another human pilot last night. Nothing earth shattering, was waiting for docking permission outside an outpost, and ping "been waiting long" came up, a text convesration ensued for 3 minutes before he got permission before I did.
Nice to know ther are others out there, and this is what I want from "multiplayer", not going in storming with 300 other people, but just to have a chat occasionally, the more banal the better, as that is probably what would happen in reality.
