Elite / Frontier First Encounters Controller Help

Hey new to the forums.

I have got First Encounters running on my Macbook Pro but I am finding it very difficult to get to grips with just using the keyboard for my controls. I have managed to connect my PS3 controller to my Mac but I can't use it in game. Is there a way to get it to work? I also have an Xbox 360 controller too if that is any use.

Mouse is the key, really. No other control method really works with the Frontier games, imho.

Don't know the first thing about Macbooks. Are you somehow emulating FFE or using MacJJFFE? The latter has a config file which includes joystick setup.

Yes I'd agree.

Mouse and Keyboard is the best way for FFE and it's remakes.
