I just wondered how many of us knew which spaceship was the very first to be portrayed in the movies?

I think it could very well be this one, but feel free to correct me. :D

There is Trip to the Moon from 1902.
More of a small capsule than a spaceship, but may still count.

Doesn't count. It's more like a cookie than a realistic rendering of the moon. Clearly it was a satire about baking ;)

PS: Lol that movie is hilarious. Gets interesting after the 5 minute mark. But I'd say it's not a spaceship because it lacks propulsion devices.
