I just wondered how many of us knew which spaceship was the very first to be portrayed in the movies?

I think it could very well be this one, but feel free to correct me.

I'm fairly sure that is the first ever spaceship on film because A TRIP TO THE MOON is assumed to be the first science fiction film.

Doesn't count. It's more like a cookie than a realistic rendering of the moon. Clearly it was a satire about baking

PS: Lol that movie is hilarious. Gets interesting after the 5 minute mark. But I'd say it's not a spaceship because it lacks propulsion devices.
