Hello community of this great game!
My name is Kieron and I first began my journey into sandbox/sim games back in 2001 with Roller Coaster Tycoon 1, it's fair to say that we've come a long way since then and In my first 20 hours of gameplay, I'd just like to share some of the things that I think could do with some work and I'd be very interesting to hear feedback from the community. Please note some of these issues might just be skill issues on my end, but to keep things simple I will bullet point everything.
This list of issues is rather short, which just goes to show how great I think this game is from day one. It obviously needs improvement in some areas, but Frontier are known for their exceptional launch after care, bug fixes and updates. I hope some of these issues could be addressed in a future one!

- Pathing
- Pathing is absolutely fantastic, but getting paths absolutely right is still a bit of a chore, sometimes you want to place scenary in the middle of a plaza, but you still end up with guests walking through walls and what not, since we have the pathing tool already would it be possible to get a "no path" tool. This would be an invisible path barrier that can site on top of paths and prevents guests from walking over it. This would be really good just for that little voice in my head that wants aesthetic perfection.
- Pathing on multiple levels of terrain height is hard to get right, sometimes your paths won't merge or there will be 2 curves where in reality the paths should merge. I'm not sure what to suggest for this, but that would be sweet if it could be fixed.
- Pathing through tunnels, I haven't noticed any mode/visual of seeing "under-ground" mode which I think would make things a lot easier, if it exists could someone tell me where I could find this mode?
- Building
- While it seems building has come a long way from Planet Coaster 1, it's still a huge time sync to get things nearing perfection and although I wouldn't be so sure what to recommend here, but one of the cool things I think that could help with building is being able to cut/mask scenery. The new building tools are nearing enough the same tools you find in 3D modeling software, and we're still seeing the same tricks being applied where people hide scenery under the ground somewhat etc. It would be nice to be able to just clip some scenery, this would make building exceptionally more powerful not having to worry about wanting to use bigger props etc that would otherwise cut outside of buildings, so then having to hide them cleverly with extra scenery somehow. My point here is that there are still things that seem like a hack. (I'm only just getting into building with these new tools though, so still a lot to learn!)
- The lack of curve-following. We have the new pathing tool which is an absolute god-send compared to the previous game, but yet when trying to make custom walls or fences etc where we'd want to respect the curves in our paths, this is still rather hard to do and almost never looks the way someone would envisage it originally in their head. Being able to have some sort of wall line tool might be useful albeit I'm not really sure how this would work.
- Money & Research
- In the first version of this game, sandbox was difficult on any level other than Easy, it was almost impossible to get enough money to do anything and maintain a park, but in this game now it seems to easy. I think there may need to be some balance tweaks here and there in regards to how much you start off with etc...
