Powerplay First insurance claim in 10 months

Yup, last night had my first insurance claim in 10 months or so.
Going from hudson space to li's space to build "Smuggle-bunny" (another Asp).
Under 10Mm from the station, interdiction from nowhere (trust me I watch the radar).
Sirius security against my unshielded, d-rated hauler.
FA off, boost no help, NPC had impeccable aim.
No contest, it was over in under 20 seconds.
Can't quit PP yet, I have 55M coming in over the next 2 weeks.
I think my smuggling runs are going to be interesting.

Gotta join a BB one time. Looks like great fun.
But regarding the claim, it's not my fault Cobras and Eagles "Want it all" from my Python.

Yeah, NPCs need a overhaul. There is no logic to interdictions. Also, they can cheat with instance interdiction right out of hyperspace, instant scans, and their threat/volumes increase almost linearly as you stack shadow missions. It's hilarious, having stacked 15 missions, once interdicted upon exiting hyperspace, to watch your instance take 2 - 5 minutes to generate, then seeing your radar filled with blips of stupid NPC most of which fall into the star if you do it right.

Hopefully the next patch addresses this.

Another oddity I noticed grinding merits last night that focusing power plants to 0 no longer disables the NPC? They can still fight on with full weapons, shields regenerating, thrusters operating, etc. Before if I knocked out the power plant the ship is disabled - I could be a chump and get up all nice and cozy, smile/wave into the cockpit before vaporizing them.

With the time spent in CZs or MZs, I noticed that if the ship continues with 0 to PP, it's most likely a rounding error, and a few more hits to the PP does disable the ship.
I notice this mostly on Pythons.

We all gotta die sometime. It's all good. Rebirth and go on. No matter the losses
Be nice to play for real in space but, I think having only one turn would stop a lot of people from trying.
darn.... gust flew past my station again.. gotta stop texting whil.......

whaat?omg thats not good at all

Well at least you got destroyed in a fight....I recently destroyed my Cobra while smuggling some goods after I panicked during a ship scan and crashed full speed ahead into the station :p (my already damaged hull couldn't handle that :p)

I have lose more ships in PP in 1 month (Mainly PVP), than I have in starting ED over 13 months ago.

PP seems to increase the amount of combat you get so Smuggle and PP not such a good idea.

Now that's funny.
I just realized that I've lost over 4M creds in outstanding bounties.
Not that I was ever going to cash then in, no idea where to go, and all that.
