Horizons First landed flag for planets

interestingly despite the fact that a lot of players (funders of the game if you like) think so, FD do not :)

In truth I would be surprised if it did not get implemented somewhere during season 2, but it should really have been in for day 1, for me it would have been better to have it than Super Mario Rock Shooting, but that's just me :D

Honestly considering the size of the moons/planets, I don't quite see the point. No one will ever see it. Even if it comes with a beacon, who will bother going there ?

Do you ever have anything nice about FD to say ...;)

In all seriousness this is a 'nice to have' not something that is absolutely necessary, saying it should have been in from day 1 is going a little over the top.

Its a good idea though, what would make it even better is if you could make your own flag graphic (or choose some predefined ones), within reason of course, to make is a bit more personal.

Well, the first landed flag would, if I were to design it, be a feature on the planet map, just like a base is. It would also be a note on the planet map, like first discovered currently is.

However, to be a little bit fair to FD, as far as I know no player has yet actually been the first to land on anything, every landing so far has been on a planet that has had some evidence of a previous landing, you can't be the first to land if there is a base there now can you? Even planets far out seem to strangely have some evidence that someone was here before you, I'm sure completely virgin planets are out there, but I'm not sure anyone has found one yet and truth is if the magical POI's are goign to pop up on every planet then every planet has already been landed on, or at least crashed on :)

yes plenty of time, but mostly Im busy playing the nice things in game :) do you ever do anything but complain about other people expressing their point of view on a forum that exists for that purpose? of course you do, now move on :)

Welcome to my planet, suckers!

First landed and get this data back to Universla Carthographics not the same as die and make wreck.

True, but I think we do not know if anyone has discovered a planet that has nothing or only a wreck, not one with skimmers guarding it which suggests someone else found it and has left millions of credits of technology guarding some very expensive tea.

Hehe, yes. But by that logic you couldn't have been the first one to discover the planet either.;)

Yeah, sometimes I think that they have a long list of features requested by the player community somewhere... And every now and then they take the least wanted feature and implement it.
That might explain how we get things like Asp Scout, or CQC...
