"First landed on" flags

Hi all, I've been away from Elite for a few months so therefore missed out on all the newsletters/news/dev postings etc etc. Anyway before I went away I remember a discussion about adding in "First Landed By..." style flags for Explorers the same way Stars and Planetary Bodies are, I'm pretty sure that a Dev said it was coming but alas when I fired up Elite the other day and went for a jolly around I haven't noticed anything new a long these lines.
So does anyone know if it's coming in an update? or maybe the idea was binned?
(I've searched but to no avail)

I can't honestly remember anything "official" but my recollection was this wasn't going to be coming. What they were more hopeful on was finding points of interest (such as massive craters or high mountains etc) that could be tagged but I really don't know if there was any sort of timescale for that.
