Hi this mission seems to be upgrading my Rank by the Federal faction. I just like to know can I do this mission for all factions after I did it for the Federal faction? Or is this mission a decition like.... ok now i am a federal pilot and all other factions hate or dislike me now. I hope someone can help me with that. Sorry for my english. Best Regards Hammer

You can do mission for factions if you are in systems that is owned by those faction.
So if you wanna join the empire you need to go to a system that is owned by the empires.

You can do it for the Empire too (providing you haven't annoyed them too much). We've already had accounts of players achieving Naval progression with a faction who doesn't like them (unfriendly).

Ok for my understanding. When I do this mission I will join a faction in my chase it would be the Federation. But what is the impact of that ? If I join the Federation can I still dock on empire stations ? Can I leave the Federation afterwards and join a other faction ?

You can be in both at the same time (a double agent if you will). I'd hope that as you climbed the ranks, you'd be faced with decisions that forced you to favour one over the other, but as I'm a servant of the Empire I don't know whether that's the case. :)
