Just starting to go down the Engineers path, and I keep running headfirst into brick walls. The meta alloys are no longer on sale at Darnielle's Progress, but I managed to go out and find some at barnacle sites. Now, moving on to Elvira Martuuk, and I'm sitting in Cheranovsky City, and there are no Soontill Relics on sale here, either. Is this due to BGS stuff that I'm unaware of, or is this a bug? And like the meta alloys, is there any alternate way to go find some Relics (that preferably doesn't involve piracy)?
I wonder if you are doing something wrong. The Ngurii Empire Party is in Boom at the moment, so they should be offering bonus amounts of Soontil Relics.
You are jus incredibly unlucky on this occasion. And I mean unbelievably. Just 5 days ago, I bought 8 meta-alloys at Darnielle's Progress (because I already had 8 other items in my hold which I promptly sold. I went to have a look at hte missions board, make sure there wasn't a good mission that I needed cargo for, there wasn't, so I went back to the commodities market and the 8 I bought 3 minutes previously had already refreshed and there were 16 again. I bought two more not to be greedy and had a very interdiction-filled trip back to the bubble. Similarly, when I went to get soontill relics, I was shocked to find a stock of something like 80.
Try logging out and back in again. Or just do a mission from the board that will bring you back for the hand in to kill 15 minutes. They do restock.

Oh i found soontil relics. that was easy. as a matter of fact i keep an extra one in my cargo (dont know why).
