First Player Interaction!

On and off since Beta always in Open and tonight was my first real interaction with players..

Got interdicted by a wing of two (Python and a Vulture) who told me to stop to be scanned.
I was in my smuggling Cobra so probably could have got away but decided to stop to see how it went. Few 'late' warning shots tested my nerve that they weren't just killers but we managed to communicate to a peaceful stop. Had a few slaves in the hold from an abandoned mission and was told to free them since I was in a Federation system. Freed the slaves and after a quick chat was on my way.

Awesome. Respect to the CMDRs. Loved it (although I might not give up my cargo next time). ;)

Phew! I was clenching my teeth waiting for the bomb to drop at the end and another thread to explode. Glad you had a good time CMDR! :)

My heart overflows with joy when seeing threads like this.
this is the proper Elite I want to play.

Had quite a few encounters like this, myself, on my travels, ant although they went both ways, at times, it was always awesome. :)

Now those are real nice pirates sir! I wish I could meet more like them. Well, I found a couple like that, tried to run away & failed miserably. If only I'd submitted to the scan lol

Hey OP - you didn't name the CMDRs involved. In threads like this, where you are giving kudos to other players, its perfectly ok to name them. The naming and shaming rule is specifically there for naming and shaming - ie, being negative about other CMDRs.

So feel free to give a shout out to them and thank them via the forums.

Seems a long time to play without seeing hollow squares.

Recent discovery of a port forwarding snafu also possibly contributed.
I have seen quite a few hollows. Even got a few 'hello's in reply - but this was my first proper game play interaction.
