Out on my first proper exploration trip in my Asp Explorer the good ship "Ronseal". Currently 5600ly from Sol. Not been this far before.
Ultimately aiming for Sag A.
Original plan of straight-lining it there and back has gone out the window (not literally thank goodness!) and instead I'm loving my meandering trip to look at shiny things.
One thing I'd never noticed before but absolutely love now I've spotted it (late after 13 months of playing) is the way that the galactic core gets brighter and appears in more detail as you supercruise away from the light pollution of the star in your current system! Magical!
Can't wait for my first black hole, and there is a nebula that just keeps on getting closer. Feel another detour coming on.
Guess I'll see you all much later.
Fly safe.
Oh, and Radio Sidewinder rocks!
