What the hell are
Meta-alloys

lol.. in game scratching body parts , thinking mmm , maybe its in the menu somewhere , read scroll , read some more , THEN I finally understand , that I don't know, will never know, UNLESS I quit the game and play on the ED forums

Every-time I play this game , I end up in the forums , tying to figure out HOW to play this game

..API please , want too stay in game , don't want too see the real world when in SPACECRAFT ! unless it's... that 'real' world in game

Galnet news (in-game):

Business leaders Darnielle's Progress in the Maia system have announced a sale of meta-alloys. Their spokesman, Larry Oldman, had this to say.

"We have a stockpile of meta-alloys, and in the current climate it would be foolish for us to ignore the income potential for them."

Researchers, including Professor Palin, who operates from the same system, have declared the move as unwise.

"We don't know the full potential of these materials, and selling them to just anybody could be a recipe for disaster."

Meta-alloys have also been mentioned in other Galnet news articles.

Awesome ... liking the update for 1 reason only - it's got me playing again.

Ah! so it was in the 'MENU' somewhere .. Kinda surprised , that that Engineer , that needed the Meta alloys , didn't have a ' Bookmark link' too the Galnet Articles , so I could 'READ' some more......But still, ED is the best Browser game I've played , I'm super impressed with the graphics ...

You are correct in that ED is not a game that has a huge surplus of arrows pointing the players exactly where to go and what to do and instead allow us to figure things out for ourselves.
