Noticed this last night for the first time, how long has this been in the game ?

Combat Zone icon? Since 3.3 I'd guess?
I haven't been in a CZ since 3.3 so may that's why I've not seen it, but why is it showing I have nothing selected....and to be honest I don't think there were any CZ's in the system I was in.
I can't be sure but it may apply to other signal sources - Weapons Fire maybe? (dunno, I'm guessing here

Err, it's the same thing that shows the space station hologram, cargo hologram, ship hologram or whatever you've got targeted hologram, so it has the function of showing you what you've got targeted is my guess. Though I've not seen that one before but I haven't played much since 3.3.
But I didn't have anything selected
Maybe thats's what it means - no target selected ?
