Firsty..THANK YOU ALL. everyone for all the help and advice in helping me try to get my DK2 working...again.
unfortunately . I have tried everything that's been offerd to me. the list is long .briefly.( reinstall everything ,including wipe of windows and everything back on and updated... new leads etc etc.)
BUT... But nothing has worked ? ..._(still can't see the leads?)
BUT ,, another butt.. I decided to try a old 'firmware sdk' ( 0.5 and o.8).
NO problem. I can run al my demos , for example, Combat helicopter-the hang glider over the mountains--boiler house- numerous fair rides, etc.
BUT ( another but..) but not elite dangerous??

So, I have a question.. is there an older sdk that will help work E,D work with a DK2. cos it ""seems" to me that the problem is the new rift software ,or is it the elite game too?.--- cos, the problem is not the leads-- I can run the other stuff.????

If that's the case .. would /could the 'dev-team' possibly have ,in the options menu--- options to use earlier versions of sdks for dk1 and dk2.?

Hi Christina,

Really strange as I'm still on the DK2 and using the latest Oculus firmware and apart from the occasional glitches most of the time it's fine.

Did you try using Steam and the steam VR option?

You did try going into oculus settings and clicking the button to allow non oculus applications (or something to that effect), did you?
Because that's what it sounds like to me

yepp the steam and the setting on the rift site.... it's just crazy-
