As it is now public knowledge that FD are going to be remembering Carrie Fisher by naming a station / outpost after her, would it not also be fitting to also have a station or similar named after her mother, in the same system?

As they were incredibly close to each other toward the end of their lives, I think it would be a nice touch to have stations in the same system named after both women. (I know that Debbie Reynolds wasn't exactly known for her contribution to sci-fi, but she did give birth to a galactic princess.....)

It's just a thought, but I think it would be welcomed by most commanders...:)

No, not really. The reason is, they both past away virtually together. Eddie Fisher is not even in the picture here. And as for including grandparents...? Its just about a mother and daughter. Debbie Reynolds last words were that she wanted to be with Carrie. I just though it would be a poignient reminder to them both, made by the FD team.

I just hope it's a Station and not a flipping outpost. If Leonard Nimoy can get a station, so can Carrie Fisher.

I really like how FD have added so many references to scifi writers all over the place.
Last night I got some passengers heading for a place called Zelazny hub.

Made me decide to read the Great Book of Amber again soon.

Public figures well known for a relationship to space or sci-fi (or a direct relationship with the game itself) seem to be more likely to get posthumous recognition in the game. I don't remember Debbie Reynolds having a sci-fi past, so it would be a bit odd including her.
