Ships Fittings: Diamondback Explorer versus the ASP

I recently found this amazing fitting website made by cmmcleod called http://coriolis.io (link to forum topic). And i have been playing around with it to see what works good and so forth, and i made a explorer version of both the Diamondback Explorer and the ASP. I am curious to know what you guys think.

Keep in mind, http://coriolis.io has not yet been fully updated to the powerplay version. I don't think there is much more i can do about the Diamondback Explorer, but i might wanna change a few things in the internal compartments of the ASP, like for instance an extra fuel tank.

So without further ado:
The Diamondback Explorer
Pretty standard what you expect, it is 0.43% over 100% overpowered though, but you can easily get it under 100% by for example turning off the cargo scoop, since you don't need that anyway.
The ASP
Also pretty standard. I know it has a cargo rack in it, which on a explorer ship is not needed, but that is only as a substitute for the extra fuel tank since the fitting website does not have that yet.

So what do you guys think? From the looks of it both ships have about the same range, the Diamondback even a little bit more than the ASP. And that for half the price :D

Look at your builds and they are similar to mine except i dont have 4 heat sinks only 2 and my sheilds are lvl 3 not 4. nice build i to think this new ships is better than the Asp. its cheeper and can jump just as far actual more.

great job

Look, this is not complicated -- less mass = more jump range. If coriolis doesn't correctly update based on lowered total mass, it is using incorrect math.

By the way, you should never need more than a 2A plant for any explorer build, even anaconda. Strip strip strip until you can't strip no more!

how you get an 2A on only way i can get that is to drop the shields and there is no way i am doing that what good is getting all that way to died when you get back in to human space via bad luck. ok if your a great pilot and can 100% of the time avoid interdiction. but there will be that one time when you millions of data and you don't
