..but apparently a dumbfire missile going in the opposite direction 5km away is the biggest threat! There should be an option to ignore missiles/mines etc.

Better idea ignore missiles not targeting you and a toggle for the ship firing them.

EDIT: A suggestion, ignore missiles more than 1.5km away.

A million, billion times even. I'd like to add the suggestion to put it on our systems window, and allow us the option of ignoring them altogether.
