Five similar animals I wouldn’t mind in game

I'm ok with adding simillar animals,as long as they're only simillar, not nearly identical. Malayan tapir differs from baird's tapir alot with his completely different color scheme. Just like this, i would like to see Black and Whie Ruffed Lemur instead of another brown bear/lion/tiger (siberian and bengal differ from one another quite enough, unlike sumatran/javan etc.)
Also, I agree with Blue Wildebeest, Grevy's Zebra, Scimitar Oryx,Sloth Bear and Masai Giraffe, Cassowary and Addax are also a must have, but it doesn't fit in simillar animal concept.

When the base animals were first being revealed and then when the game came out and lots of people were complaining about there being two giant tortoises and two brown bears I said it wasn’t necessarily problematic as we don’t know what’s coming further down the line.

I now do find it problematic as we aren’t getting an influx of bear species or tortoises and this thread does show the potential of doing similar but very different animals that aren’t just subspecies or very similar species.

It really makes me question why they had the Himalayan brown bear when they could have included for example the Andean bear. And why two giant tortoises when you could have had an African spurred tortoise and a giant tortoise species?

Bearing in mind that as has been mentioned the same rigging can be used for very different animals here are some suggestions with varying degrees of similarity to existing animals that I would like:

• Black and white ruffed lemur
• Sumatran tiger, Amur leopard, serval, puma
• Chilean flamingo, American flamingo
• Malayan tapir, Brazilian tapir
• Greater rhea, southern cassowary, emu
• Andean bear, sun bear
• Przewalski’s horse
• White rhino, black rhino
• Guanaco, vicuña, alpaca
• Wisent
• Iberian wolf, arctic fox
• Arabian camel
• African spurred tortoise, leopard tortoise, red-footed tortoise
• Alligator, fresh water crocodile, Orinoco crocodile, any caiman species

And to pick five purely on the basis of what I’d like at the moment (you can see why):

• Andean bear
• Brazilian tapir
• Greater rhea
• Puma
• Chilean flamingo
